HISTORY

Jhupdi restaurant was established in June 1999, with a desire to serve home cooked meals in the heart of New Jersey bringing in exotic flavors from Saurashtra and Kathiawad provinces of Gujarat.

  THE AMBIENCE

The earthy décor, regional arts & crafts combined with the ethnic wooden seating and intimate ambience make a true village setting. In the warm Gujarati folk setting a wholesome THALI (platter) is served with a variety of delicacies to devour. A traditional low sankheda table, mattress seating & embroidered cushions is reserved for a group of 5-8 people.

Food & Catering

An array of appetizers ranging from the familiar Samosa to the Gujarati Dhokla & Khandvi is a perfect introduction to this regional cuisine. The appetizing Khichdi-Kadhi & wholesome Thalis make a perfect meal in the warmth of the cozy ambience. Jhupdi offers CATERING SERVICES for all your events for a group of 40 to 2000 people. Jhupdi also offers TIFFIN SERVICE  (lunchbox) for making your everyday meals appetizing in the comfort of your own home or office.
